My baby turned 5 in August! (Yes, I know I'm a little behind in posting this, sorry Carter.) He started Kindergarten and turned 5 all in the same week. Very bitter-sweet for Mommy. He is such a good boy and handsome too I might add. He is very smart and clever. He adores his little sister. He can be very helpful and is very considerate! We love him and think he's one of the greatest kids ever! But I digress.
This year for Carter's birthday we took the kids to the Greatest show on Earth. That's right the Circus! I had never been so I was just as excited as the kids, and it did not disappoint.
Of course there were trapeze artists...
...animals doing tricks...
...and don't forget the clowns! This particular scene was Carters favorite part.

For his birthday all Carter wanted was a remote control car. He'd been asking for one since Christmas. I think he looks pretty excited, don't you?
